The Role
As the Head of Babcock Skills Academy, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our current and future workforce is capable of delivering client demands.
Day to day, you’ll work closely with the Group Head of Capability to run a programme that solidifies all elements of learning and development into an academy approach:
- Collaborate with HR and wider business
- Long term, strategic planning
- Enacting change within the business Work with team to develop and deliver courses
Essential experience of the Head of Babcock Skills Academy:
- Previous experience of leading, designing and executing learning programs / academies
- Experience of implementing training related change programs
- Commercially and financially competent
- Ability to work with variety of stakeholders, including internationally
- Excellent communication skills
Full Time, based on a 37.5 hour week. Remote working available although must be willing to travel to a base location, preferably Plymouth.
Qualifications for the Head of Babcock Skills Academy:
- Degree qualified in relevant subject
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
