Are you looking for a new challenge, and the opportunity to work in a beautiful historic location? We are looking for an experienced, hand on Head Housekeeper to support lead our team providing all our guests a clean and safe experience in all areas of the hotel.
It is not all about the bedrooms at Ruthin Castle, with our amazing spa, and stunning public areas our Housekeeping department are really kept on their toes and as a Head Housekeeper your role will provide a lot of variety and different challenges to work with.
Your main responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness of all our bedrooms, public areas and spa and ensuring your housekeeping team have the support and skills necessary to the do their job to the best of their abilities. Other duties include:
· Supporting the training of the housekeeping team
· Motivating and developing the team to consistently produce excellent results
· Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and guest sundries
· Ensuring the rooms and public areas are maintained to our exacting standards by conducting regular checks.
· Working to ensure all team members are complying with the relevant health and safety policies.
· Liaising with other Managers within the business to ensure clear communication regarding hotel matters.
· To clean rooms when necessary setting the standards for all Housekeeping staff
· To prepare the room attendants daily duties and allocate cleaning schedules for the day, including daily/weekly and monthly focus areas
