League: 5 East Central

Salary: £150 per week

Cardiff International Athletic Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Men's Rugby Team Coach to join our team. We compete in the League 5 East Central and are looking for someone who has coached at this level or higher. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about rugby, has a deep understanding of the game, and is committed to player development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training sessions that focus on improving players' technical and tactical abilities. • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to assistant coaches. • Collaborate with team managers to select the best team for each game. • Attend all matches and provide coaching and support during games. • Develop and maintain positive relationships with players, coaching staff, and club officials. • Collaborate with the club's committee to ensure the smooth running of the team. • Attend all club events as required. • Implement a game plan for each match and have complete authority over the squad.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience coaching at the League 5 East Central level or higher. • Coaching badges or currently studying rugby coaching at university. • Strong understanding of rugby tactics and strategies. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Ability to work well in a team environment.
