This is an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities Management team responsible for the development and delivery of high performing support services.
As a Delivery Officer, you will lead and manage all aspects of the University's security service, whilst promoting a culture which values employee's wellbeing as highly as delivering organisational and business objectives.
Significant, recent, experience of supervising a security service is essential, including managing staff workloads, performance and capability, operating a team within relevant industry regulations. You should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, with up-to-date knowledge of legislation relevant to the area. Experience of delivering projects within time, cost and quality constraints, working collaboratively/ in partnership to ensure value for money, is also essential.
You will be responsible for supporting a transition in service delivery, creating a more user focussed, ambassadorial approach, to meet the requirements of the evolving university community. A “One University”, approach to leadership and management is key, supporting all teams within Facilities Management, Estates and the wider University. You should therefore, demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively, building strong links with stakeholders both within and external to the organisation.
