Head Chef – New Brasserie opening – 50K – 55K annual salaryWe are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef / Developmental Chef to join an existing team in a new brasserie opening in South Kensington.You will be hands on working closely with the Executive Chef on menu design, branding and training as well as overseeing the kitchen once opened.We are looking for proven experience with menu design and with new openings, but are open to either independent restaurants or branded backgrounds!Responsibilities:· Managing samples and facilitating product tastings· Creating dish specifications, dish methods and product handling guides· Complete menu design and brand· Provide regular updates regarding project status, challenges, and successes.· Addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise during the development process.· Responsibility of development kitchen management.· Assisting with the preparation & smooth running of photoshoots & menu training.· Overseeing the build up to the new opening and running a smooth kitchen afterBenefits:· 50K- 55K annual salary· A free staff meal on shift· 50% discount on food and drink· People’s Pension scheme contribution after 3 months· 28 Days paid holiday per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays· Recommend a friend scheme with great bonuses per individual referral· A fast-track career progression and CPL trainingJob Type: Full-timeSalary: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionSchedule:Weekend availabilityWork Location: In person
