Job description
We are seeking a talented Head Chef with bartending experience to join our team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards.
Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
- Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- Supervise kitchen staff's activities
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume restaurant or catering company
- Knowledge of a wide range of recipes, cooking techniques, and culinary trends
- Ability to manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and delegating duties
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, management, and customers
- Bartending experience is required
