Trafford Job description Our client is looking for an cleaner in the Trafford Borough. This is a ongoing role Monday-Friday. Apply for this role Job summary Trafford role 11.41 About the role The work will involve: The cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, polishing and dusting of designated areas, (which may include toilets and shower areas) and fixtures and fittings. The use of necessary powered equipment where appropriate. Manual lifting of furniture where required Painting the internal walls and woodwork in the properties when required. Carrying out minor repairs and lock changes to the accommodation Answering general tenant queries or signposting to appropriate resources Liaising with other services where needed Ensuring gas and electric checks are arranged in a timely manner. Communicating confidently with good interpersonal skills and good organisational skills. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities that arises from and relate to this post Participation in all relevant training as required. All duties must be carried out to comply with The Health and Safety at Work Policy at all times. Acts of Parliament, Statutory Instruments and Regulations and other legal requirements. Nationally agreed Codes of Practice which are relevant About you Experience and Knowledge: 1 years' experience of cleaning properties and/or communal areas. Ability to paint to an acceptable standard. DIY experience such as hanging doors, changing handles, fixing cupboards Experience of using Microsoft outlook and Word Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written format.
