WHAT WE OFFER
- This is a salaried role starting from £23,300 per annum.
- Full-time, permanent contract working 39 hours a week and 5 days out of 7.
- Standard working hours will be between Monday to Friday, starting from 07:00am in the morning.
- Ad hoc weekend work and night work may be required to meet business needs, however, this will be infrequent and arranged ahead of time for you.
- Flexibility on availability to be discussed at interview.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- We are looking for someone who has the customer at heart in everything they do.
- You have a strong sense of passion and pride in quality work and home furnishings.
- You have the ability to problem solve and work independently in a timely manner.
- This role will involve multi-tasking, so you will be organised, efficient and have a 'hands on' and practical approach to getting things done.
Due to Health and Safety regulations, you must be 18 years or over for this role.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- This is a physical role in a fast-paced and busy environment, you will be completing tasks that involve manual handling and working at heights.
- A large part of your working week will involve maintaining the fixtures and helping out with the assembly of room sets.
- You will be keeping the department common areas clean and tidy, free from risk and fully compliant with the department needs.
- A smaller part of your working week will be supporting the implementation of commercial changes in the retail unit for practical works, including painting, basic wiring and assembly/disassembly of shop fixtures where required.
- Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge around compliance requirements for basic electrical works.
- Keep visitors in mind when working on the shop floor by minimising disruption and remain aware at all times of the importance of safety and the visual impact for visitors.
