Handover Manager – CARZ

We have an exciting opportunity for a Handover Manager to join our busy CARZ dealership in Edinburgh, Seafield Road. The Handover team are pivotal to the guest’s journey from being their friendly face at the point of purchase of a car, making sure that all paperwork is accurately completed, and any actions agreed, through to booking the guest’s appointment to take delivery of their new car, either onsite or to their door, whilst delivering a world class experience. As the Handover Manager, you will be required to manage and lead a small team of Handover Specialist to ensure our guests receive a ‘world class’ guest experience.
What you will do
- Ensure all Guests are met at point of sale by, either yourself or your Handover team, and ensure the Guests expectations are met with regards to their delivery date.
- Co-ordinate deliveries ahead of the scheduled handover addressing any potential issues ensuring that the Guest is communicated with at all times in a courteous and efficient manner, preventing any potential CSI issues.
- Conduct quarterly AYOT’s and bi-annual PDP’s with the Guest Experience team members.
- Review CSI position daily, identifying any red alert areas or key areas for improvement and implement action plans.
- Liaise with guests to complete CSI questionnaire at handover/post-handover and ensure they are contacted 48 hours after collection to confirm they have given their experience a 10/10, addressing any issues immediately.
- Manage and review administration processes, completing a weekly walk through.
- Conduct daily meetings with Vehicle Admin/Vehicle Progressor/Head Valeter/Sales Manager to ensure all Guest expectations and delivery times are met and any issues dealt with, advising the Guest of these at all times.
- Manage delivery targets and communicate to the Guest Experience team. Any issues which could have an impact on targets being achieved should be escalated to the Sales Manager and Managing Partner immediately.
- Ensure Fastrack is updated for all deliveries and telephone calls made.
- Accept or reject all paperwork into the Vehicle Admin team.

The ideal candidate will be currently working within the automotive industry either as an experienced handover specialist or senior vehicle administrator.
