Job Title: Graduate IT Business Analyst
Department: IT Team
Reports to: IT and ERP Manager
SUMMARY
Working within the IT team, as a Graduate IT Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in analysing business processes, system and data maintenance and supporting the ongoing maintenance of our ERP system. The role will support the team in the continuous improvement of Oxley’s IT systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- ERP System (IFS) Support:
- Work closely with the IT team and other departments to support the maintenance of the ERP system.
- Assist in configuring and customising the ERP system to align with the business requirements.
- Collaborate with testing to ensure thorough system testing and issue resolution.
- Support the colleagues with project scoping, implementation and delivery.
- Support with end-user training.
- System Maintenance and Support:
- Monitor the performance of the ERP system and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Assist in managing system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with the IT team.
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing enquiries and troubleshooting system-related problems.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Assist in documenting business processes, requirements, and system configurations.
- Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports and presentations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree Qualified in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with ERP systems including (IFS / Oracle SQL), BI (Power BI/MySQL), and Crystal is ideal but not essential.
This role is suited to an individual who wishes to acquire an awareness of a functioning business as the role will work in many different functions across the whole business. Ideally the role requires some previous knowledge of working in a manufacturing organisation, however, this is not essential.

Excellent organisational skills and capable of working to tight deadlines
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Whilst hybrid working is available within this role, with a mix of office and remote working, individuals in this role would gain more benefit from being site based.

Salary: Up to £28,350.00 per year
