Tuesday and Wednesday 06:00 – 07:30am & 17:00 – 22:00

Working at the School’s Specialism Campus: 52 Izzard Road

Heyford Park School has a vacancy for a Gym Assistant to look after the gym which is accessed by the local community.

You will also be the face of our lettings business, welcoming clients that have booked our facilities and ensuring that the facilities are ready for them to use throughout the week.

As part of our small team you will contribute to building our gym member base by thinking of new and exciting ways to entice members of our community to join the gym.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND KEY DUTIES:

The role includes responsibilities in the following areas:

· Security of the school site (Key holder)

· Signing up new members

· Supporting the recruitment of new members and drive sales

· Ensuring the gym remains presentable, clean and tidy at all times

· Greeting our lettings customers and ensuring that the space they are hiring is ready to use.

· Dealing with new lettings enquiries and passing them on to the relevant person

· Point of contact for any first aid requirements.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

· Flexibility in working hours, including early morning, evening and weekend work as required.

· Be working towards or hold a Gym Instructor qualification (Minimum – Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing Course)

· Be a responsible Key holder for the school

· Commitment, enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude

· Be willing to complete a 3 day First Aid at Work qualification
