ISP Learning Experience Lead Role Profile

Purpose of Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to make a considerable impact within our thriving community as the Learning Experience Lead at The Learning Hub.

The Learning Hub, ISP's innovative professional learning platform, endeavours to revolutionise the way our educators engage with their professional development, offering a diverse array of formats to cater to varied schedules and learning styles.

As the Learning Experience Lead, you'll be the skilled orchestrator transforming stakeholder needs into compelling e-learning courses, tools, and experiences. You'll employ your expertise to meet the requirements of our subject matter experts, utilising the full potential of our cutting-edge digital professional development platform.

Moreover, you'll take charge of our other LX designers' valuable work, steering the direction and flow of our content pipeline. Your role will be instrumental in curating the digital resources that provide maximum value to our users.

You will be a vital cog in our machine, facilitating this change. Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritise the learning experience design pipeline and deployment to ensure that products are always aligned with and support our core school improvement plans and initiatives.
  • Lead the development and integration of effective and engaging learning experiences that are compelling and scalable.
  • Evaluate and quality assure all ISP digital learning product, owning the success criteria for all learning experience design to ensure it has impact and when measured against learning outcomes.
  • Influence the service development roadmap to enable appropriate experiences working closely with the Digital product manager and wider team.
  • Provide learning design leadership to the wider team and lead and develop a small team of learning experience designers.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in learning design or digital pedagogy.
  • Strong analytical skills particularly around evaluation of digital learning services.
  • Strong knowledge of sound pedagogy-based teaching methods particularly in relation to digital learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Experience in an education, professional development, assessment, or education publishing setting
  • Excellent people skills capable of managing the needs of a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and high performing subject matter experts and teams.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating streamlined, efficient and robust design workflows.

ISP Commitment to Safeguarding Principles

ISP is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and satisfactory Criminal Background Checks or equivalent covering the previous 10 years’ employment history.

Salary: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
