Overview: In a Guest Service or Sales position with Cedar Point, you will be a part of a team that adheres to all customer relations. Your duties in a Guest Services or Sales position may include greeting and assisting guests, accommodating requests, answering calls, processing payments, providing recommendations, and more. How You'll Make A Difference: Admissions Team Member – Meets and greets guests at park entry and exit points and sells, processes, and verifies admission tickets and season passes for guests entering the park and at the toll plaza as a member of the Park Operations team. Call Center Associate, Guest Experience Team – Responsible for answering incoming calls and emails relating to the in-park guest experience, season passes, ticketing, and park information. Associates in the Guest Experience Call Center are also responsible for resolving guest conflict in a polite and professional manner. The communication each associate has with guests is the beginning of their positive, memorable experience at Cedar Point. Group Sales Assistant – Works directly within the Marketing and Group Sales Department on the booking and execution of Corporate, Youth and Small Group catered and non-catered events. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to fielding incoming calls and inputting reservations into our ticketing and catering systems, processing payments for group ticket programs, assisting with incremental sales to include catered meals, drink wristbands, parking, and other add-ons, contacting leads that have been submitted to Cedar Point Group Sales, communicating with guests via chat client, and providing support for Guest Services Communications Center as needed. Guest Experience Team Member – Responsible for providing excellent guest assistance to maintain guest satisfaction with the Park Operations team. Assists with resolving guest conflicts in a polite and professional manner, handling guest inquiries, providing VIP tours, and acting as a Cedar Point Ambassador to ensure guests are having a superior experience Traffic Associate – Responsible for directing the flow of traffic in and out of Cedar Point, ensuring the safety of guests while using designated crosswalks, maintaining clear directional signage, providing directions to the guests when needed, and answering guest questions. We're Looking For: Must be at least 14 years of age (Admissions Team Member) Must be at least 18 years of age (All roles except Admissions Team Member) Desire to be outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions and extensive knowledge of Cedar Point is preferred (Guest Experience Team Member) Ability to use strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial lawShow more
