Job title: Graduate Teaching Assistance (GTA) /Teaching Fellow (TF)
Department: School of Law, Gender & Media
Salary: Salary starting at Grade 6 (£20.89 per hour, inclusive of London Allowance – indicative starting rate of 2023/24). Contact hours are paid at a multiplier of 2.5 basic hours, with annual leave accrued and paid in March, July and December.
Location: Bloomsbury, London (Successful candidates must be based in the UK for the duration of their contract)
Contract type: Part-Time, Fixed Term, subject to SOAS Term dates and module-specific responsibilities

About the role
Our Centre has vacancies for fixed term Graduate Teaching Assistants / Teaching Fellows to cover tutorial teaching on following module(s):
15PMSH029 Studies in Global Digital Cultures
Skills and experience
Candidates will be expected to have specialist knowledge in the discipline(s) related to the contracted module, the ability to design and develop lessons for, and deliver engaging teaching to, undergraduate or postgraduate students from a diverse background, and strong time management skills, with the ability to plan work independently and meet varied deadlines.

Further information
Payment will generally be made over a period of ten, seven or four months according to your teaching and marking responsibilities. Annual salary will be calculated based on the number of contracted hours.
