Are you interested in how a global bank manages its balance sheet and liquidity and funding risks? Do you want to support the liquidity and funding optimization agenda to drive efficient use of resources?

We’re looking for a Trader to:

• engage on strategic capital market activities including planning and execution of capital and long term debt instruments;
• contribute to capital markets analysis and activities related to funding opportunities across markets & entities;
• execute and risk manage the CP/CD debt portfolio;
• support the maintenance of target operating model for issuance & issuing entities;
• lead the project management of strategic team initiatives.

You’ll be working in the Issuance and Funding Strategy team in London / Zurich. The team plans and executes the external funding requirements of the Group via issuance of Commercial Paper, Certificates of Deposits, Capital Instruments and Long Term Debt.
As a member of the team, you will play an important role in optimization of the liability side of the balance sheet in line with Firm's strategic goals and risk appetite. Also, you'll be involved in designing and implementing external funding strategy, ensuring:

• the Firm is appropriately funded to meet the internal and regulatory requirements;
• the diversification of funding sources & cost minimization;
• the delivery and execution of capital instruments and benchmark issuances;
• the contribution to the governance of funding metrics;
• Firm wide projects and initiatives, acting as SME for all matters related to funding.

You have:

• genuine interest in funding related matters and capital markets;
• good understanding of regulatory environment, especially in the area of funding, capital and liquidity;
• preferably an understanding or previous work experience in capital markets, balance sheet and liability structure;
• strong analytical, communication and presentation skills required combined with a good understanding of the business environment;
• adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment;
• strong results orientation;
• good PowerPoint and Excel fluency;
• excellent command in English (oral and written).
