Group Systems Engineer (Linux) Remote

About The Role
- Design, Engineer and Operate the core Linux platforms underpinning our Global Organisation.
- Work with various internal stakeholders to both identify and overcome technical challenges in working and integrating with our platforms.
- Work with the same stakeholders to understand, appraise and model new features available to these platforms that we may plan to use.
- Work with our security areas to identify and mitigate threat and improve our general internal security processes and posture.
- Automate tasks relating to these platforms with respect to the above.
About You
• 5+ years relevant Linux experience (both public and private cloud) showing career progression and increasing responsibility in line with a constantly expanding skill set.
- Virtualisation and / or containerisation experience including high availability, performance, networking, monitoring and security.
- Good working knowledge of Python 3
- Familiarity with, or experience in systems driving continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Good analytical and numeracy skills.
