About the role
The position will sit within our Group Supply Chain team, where you will co-ordinate the medium (3-12 months) to long term (1-5 years) global supply planning and balancing for all Scott Bader product groups to ensure alignment of production, sales and inventory plans.
In addition to the above, you will also support the Group in achieving best possible service to customers, whilst analysing and providing solutions to stock imbalance against current and future demand.
Key responsibilities
Supporting design of supply planning across the Group to maximise OTIF deliveries to customer and achieving the required stock targets.
Identification of alternatives to route of supply or manufacturing / warehousing site.
High level capacity balancing in order to achieve the most suitable balance of stock across the Group.
Capacity constraint mitigation, working alongside the manufacturing leads across the Group identify ways of mitigating any reductions in capacity either planned or unplanned.
Customer availability metrics & global KPIs to formalised, created and shared, alongside continuous improvement recommendations.
Monitoring & adjusting SS settings to support dynamic stock levels, reacting to changes in demand.
Attendance at Group Supply S&OP Meetings, introducing input from the local planning teams and supporting the Group Planning Manager.
Create solutions to enable rough cut capacity planning.
Support the Group Planning Manager to establish an effective way of reporting, managing and increasing capacity across the group, working with relevant teams.
Maintenance of GSC master data within our ERP tool.
Optimisation of end-to-end supply routes, considering multiple factors including capacity cost, environmental impact, lead-times and regulations.
Identify supply risks and opportunities and present them in a suitable manner to the Group S&OP meeting.
Support in the analysis of Make/Buy decisions.
Use metrics and data to assess performance and drive improvement projects to reduce supply chain inventory costs, improve customer service, improved planning processes to improve business performance aligned to objectives.
To perform any other tasks reasonably requested to support the business activity.
About you
The successful candidate will ideally have extensive experience of multi-site global supply planning, in addition to experience of strategy management within a Supply Chain and collaboration with commercial teams.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, as to interpret complex data and supply routes. Confident in building strong partnerships and working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Salary & benefits: The salary for the position will be in the range of £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 dependent upon experience. In addition to your salary, you will also be included into our company bonus scheme (Group Staff Bonus & Profit Performance Bonus).
