You’re there to inspire our travellers and help them fall in love with their destination by immersing them in your local culture and exposing them to true real life experiences. Our leaders don’t just recite from a guidebook, they use their passion for their community to educate and help our customers fall in love with the destination – so they want to return, again and again.
With Intrepid you’ll be ensuring that the work you do has meaning. Intrepid focuses on giving back and investing in your local community, which is why we use local leaders and operators to ensure we give back to the destination at every opportunity. To become a leader with Intrepid you’ll need:
- Full rights to work in the area you are applying for, with the ability to cross borders freely
- Customer Service Experience
- Basic computer skills including Email, Word and Excel
- Fluency in English and at least one other local language (the more the better!)
- Travel experience in the region to be employed
- A valid senior first-aid certificate before starting to work with us (can be obtained after successful application)
- Run all our trips according to itinerary and budget, fulfil your administrative duties, and respect our Health and Safety guidelines.
You will have strong customer service and experience developing a rapport with a broad range of individuals and groups. But more importantly, you will share in Intrepid’s core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth, and responsibility.
