Group Digital System Developer Role
The Company
Established in 1991, Conway Packing Services (Part of the Conway’s Group) is midlands-based end to end export packing services provider. Based over two sites in Oldbury and Tipton, Conway’s are the preferred packing partner to many global organisations.
Aims / Purpose
This role will see the successful candidate drive growth through supporting various departments within the Conway Group. Working closely with the IT Manager, they will be responsible for identifying, implementing, and maintaining various digital solutions across the organisation. The system developer role plays an essential part in helping to implement and maintain digital transformation within this traditional family run business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Actively engage with stakeholders to gather requirements for new and existing processes / implemented technologies to determine if there is a need for change.
2. Digital Process Re-Engineering. Understanding the necessity of various business processes and the role they play within the organisation, implementing change to these processes to improve efficiencies through use of digital methods.
3. Drive system development, build and implement various process changes to meet dynamically changing business needs. Understanding the wider impact of any process change and be able to articulate these to stakeholders pre and post change.
4. Design and implement quality of life changes. Understanding how to strike a fine balance between the needs of the system and the needs of the stakeholders to ensure better adaptation.
5. To create various reports, dashboards, and data snapshots on request. The ability to work with, manipulate and interpret various data sets.
6. Facilitate cross departmental IT projects. Be able to manage user groups expectations and needs.
7. Maintain existing bespoke IT systems.
8. Various Ad-hoc requests

Qualifications:
Batchelors Degree in a computing related field (Essential)
Master’s degree in a computing related field (Beneficial)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £35,000.00 per year
