We are currently implementing an exciting growth strategy, on track to invest and launch investment businesses in 20 countries outside the UK. This is a unique opportunity for a strong, highly motivated finance professional as part of its core team, in the role of Group Financial Controller with a key focus on financial reporting, controls and compliance.
We are looking for a high calibre qualified accountant (with a minimum 5+ years post qualification experience) with familiarity of working in a fast-paced, multi-currency environment. Prior experience in a Group Financial Controller role in an investment-related and/or recruitment-related business is preferred.
The Group Financial Controller role is one that is focused across internal performance reporting & planning, statutory reporting and treasury management, covering the UK-head office and international investments.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Responsibility for all monthly financial reporting (consolidation of HQ and international subsidiaries), presenting financial results, performance against budget/KPIs and forecasts to the Board
- Design and implement a new Consolidation process across a newly formed Group, as well as putting in place and refining financial control processes and procedures across the Group to facilitate accurate and timely reporting
- Leading the cashflow forecasting process by HQ and international offices for accurate forecasting of capital deployment of committed funds across international investments
- Overseeing the day-to-day Treasury, tax requirement and finance function of the HQ team, including VAT, payroll, and overseeing inter-group transactions and transfer pricing implications
- Act as a key point of contact to external auditors with management of audit deliverables across teams
- Ensuring compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and keeping up to date with changes in statutory reporting requirements which apply to the group
- and its subsidiaries and assisting the team maintain knowledge and application of reporting frameworks as appropriate
- Lead the Group's budget process, including timetabling, co-ordination, development of budget model, consolidation of all inputs and presentation of the final budget to the Board
