- Strategy: Shape, lead and/or support strategic planning and initiatives to ensure that the department is benchmarked as world class in the industry, delivering strategic business value and supporting an innovation agenda
- Transformation: Drive and maintain the master implementation plan for Group CTI Arch transformation and delivery of new operating model, working closely with group and local leads within CTI, Product, Technology and Corporate support teams.
- Governance: Supervise and facilitate CT&I leadership governance to support decision making and leadership collaboration on key strategic, delivery or operational topics. Regularly document, track and present on CT&I vision, strategy, planning and delivery/performance status – provide reports and data to Group and Exec Steering Groups, CTI Steering Groups and delivery working groups
- Financial management: partner closely with Finance and leadership teams to shape financial plans to underpin business strategy and critical operational priorities. This includes oversight for investment and opex planning to support longer term operational transformation, plus in-year budget management and capex spend management across territories to support Group and local P&L targets (total approx. $80m+ capex, $180m+ opex).
- Responsible for the management of the central Project Management Office to support central demand intake and portfolio management, project administration, budget support, and provide central guidance and strategy for Group project tooling and reporting.
- Department Operations: be the coordination point for Group business continuity, resource planning and facilities coordination for UK-based staff.
- People & Comms: lead resource management and strategic workforce planning across territories to support organisational change, operational continuity and headcount budget management and identification of future skills and training needs across markets, working closely with HR business partners and Group People engagement teams. Work closely with CTI leaders, wider Group Product and internal comms teams to support comms planning/messaging and people initiatives for CTI (e.g. diversity & inclusion, recognition, career development)
- Resiliency, Audit & Compliance: be the coordination point for resiliency planning and give central oversight for CT&I’s liaison with Sky Resiliency, Cyber and Comcast audit teams to ensure that Sky’s resiliency and compliance posture is continuously matured.
- Team management: responsible for a team of 15+in the UK, plus extended team of central governance functions based in Germany and Italy.
- Strong Programme management, consultancy and organisational change skills to plan and coordinate business transformation change activities across multiple domains (full change management spectrum: people, process and tech change)
- Senior experience leading decision making processes and influencing skills to reach consensus on complex topics, working with teams up to Director level
- Able to lead and develop a small, impactful team
- Language - must have fluent English, German or Italian would be a bonus
- Domain/industry experience: knowledge of content technologies, workflows and functional domains would be ideal; if not, wider technical and business change and operational experience in the media entertainment, broadcast or related sectors
