We're seeking a person to join our dynamic team who can contribute to the execution of groundwork projects. This position requires a good understanding of drainage, landscaping and labouring skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be willing to work with a team to complete various projects quickly, healthily, and cost effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Dig holes.
- Dig ditches.
- Dig trenches.
- Remove obstacles.
- Build concrete slabs.
- Install drains.
- Accept criticism from supervisors.
- Be laid off during recessions.
- Drive trucks carrying heavy equipment.
- Bury cable.
- Operate backhoes and loaders.
- Crush rocks and gravel.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Performance bonus
Ability to commute/relocate:
- England: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
