Job description
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Ground Workers to join our team. As a Ground Worker, you will be responsible for performing a range of manual labor tasks to prepare and maintain construction sites. You will work closely with our construction team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with site preparation and cleanup
- Operate hand and power tools, such as shovels, jackhammers, and drills
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other temporary structures
- Assist with the installation of drainage systems and other underground utilities
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the job site
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
- Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Ground Worker or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques and materials
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
