Job description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Ground Workers to join our team. As a Ground Worker, you will be responsible for performing a range of manual labor tasks to prepare and maintain construction sites. You will work closely with our construction team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with site preparation and cleanup
• Operate hand and power tools, such as shovels, jackhammers, and drills
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other temporary structures
• Assist with the installation of drainage systems and other underground utilities
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the job site
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Ground Worker or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Knowledge of basic construction techniques and materials
• Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £130.00-£140.00 per day
