“TLC offers a fast-paced and highly skilled environment, working with notable clients such as F1, British Museum, CR Fashion and many more. We're looking for a suitable individual to take on retouching and design work, with an aptitude for the Adobe Creative Suite. The role requires a strong understanding of design, communication and a willingness to learn new digital skills. The ideal person for this role will be able to handle fast turnaround on projects without compromising on quality. Supported by our studio manager and design team, who boast over 50 years of combined experience, the candidate would be working with our core team at our Newquay office.
TLC also has a Fine Art department, supplying high-quality prints to over 120 artists. With a 2A0 V3D scanner, we are able to capture artwork in fantastic detail. The successful candidate would also learn more about the Fine Art print process, and assist with retouching work from the Fine Art department.
Required:
Adept skills with Adobe Creative Suite, with an emphasis on Photoshop retouching skills (particularly cut-outs and colour balancing).
An understanding of editorial design, branding and design for print.
Hard-working and willing to learn new skills.
Good communication skills.
Admin literate with the ability to adhere to house styles in file management.
Able to work efficiently within a small team and individually lead on projects.
Experience with working on multiple projects to tight deadlines.
Preferred:
Knowledge and professional experience with website design and After Effects.
Knowledge of Indesign and high-end fashion magazines.
Full driving license or commutable by public transport.”
