We are looking for a multi-talented, full-time designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent portfolio, the capability to guide projects, exceptional client relations skills and bring positive energy to the creative process.

Job Description
You will join our agency of 6 (designers, developers and administration) and share responsibility in all aspects of design. You will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with the Creative Director to lead design projects, collaborate closely with clients, and help to nurture a positive team environment. The way we work means that you will work on every aspect of our output, whether it’s brand strategy, website design and UX, print, signage, packaging or anything else our clients might need.
Overview of the Role
We are looking for a talented, hands-on designer with the ability to shape projects and deliver creative concepts and executions across a wide variety of projects. As a brand led agency you’ll need to create beautiful designs and back them up with sound strategic thinking.
As well as working with the Creative Director you will need to be able to take full-ownership over projects, and all that comes with it – from managing the projects time and budget to having the confidence to present and champion your work to the Creative Director and clients.
Requirements
First and foremost we want you to deliver exquisite work to brief, on your own and as part of a team. Design Chops
A strong portfolio showcasing your work, demonstrating a breadth of skills and the ability to work to a brief.
Understand and interpret client needs, objectives, and preferences.
Write strong, clear design and specification briefs that work for both client and internal teams.
Present and champion your work to the team, creative director and client in internal and external meetings.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into the creative output of the studio.
Uphold a high standard of work, making sure that everything that goes out is fit-for-purpose.
Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Excellent, proactive communication skills.
Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas to clients and address their feedback.
Budget and Timescale Management:
Work with the project management team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and tracked effectively, using our existing systems.
Help create and adhere to project processes and timelines, coordinating resources effectively to get projects in on-budget.
An understanding of small agency life, meaning working to a variety of timescales on both short and long-lead projects, with a team that depend on each other to do our best work.
Team Collaboration:
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Share knowledge and contribute to the growth and success of the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and copywriters, to execute projects through pro-active and positive communication.
Must be able to work at least 2-3 days a week from our spacious, central Falmouth office.
Nice to have:
An passion for, and understanding of UI/UX and digital design.
Animation skills, especially After Effects work
Secondary skills – eg animation, photography, film, copywriting etc.

Salary and Benefits
Applicants will be offered between £26k and £33k p/a depending on experience.
