Position: Graphic Designer and Content Creator - Full Time
Location: Toronto (Martin Grove and HWY 409)
Overview:
Stelvio Brands, a Toronto company, is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer & Content Creator. We’re an early-stage consumer goods company with innovative brands within their categories (Element Fire Extinguishers and Carbonio Design & Engineering). This is a primarily in-office position with some potential to transition to a hybrid role. The ideal candidate for this position will have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and possess excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills. Clear written communication is paramount for this position. Applicants will be required to present a portfolio showcasing their design work that demonstrates their creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting the creative look of our brands and marketing assets
- Act as a stand-alone designer who must also work in conjunction with a Marketing Manager
- Create engaging video and graphic content to be shared across various social media channels while engaging with followers
- Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms (digital and print)
- Manage company websites and online stores (Shopify based)
- Create content for all promotional material and digital advertising (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years full-time professional work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator, InDesign)
- UX experience with an analytical approach to maximizing UX on e-commerce websites
- Knowledge in SEO and Web Analytics
- Must possess exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills
- Must be experienced in presenting and creating clean and corporate designs that embody the organizations image and products
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
Nice to have extras:
- Social Media growth and management experience
- Shopify experience including custom coding on their platform
- Some knowledge or passion for the automobile industry
- Skills in Photography and Video capture
Additional Information
Only apply if you are presently living within daily travelling distance to Toronto Canada. This is primarily a full-time in-house position that requires daily attendance at our office in Etobicoke.
