SUMMARY:

SeneGence International is looking for an innovative Jr. Graphic Designer to join our rapidly growing Marketing Team! This position requires skills in visual design, keen insight toward shaping unique, user-centric products and experiences, positive attitude and the ability to solve creative problems as they arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recreating or reformatting documents according to SeneGence style guidelines
• Work with the Communications team to help publish engaging content
• Design email campaigns
• Manage and organize a multitude of files
• Communicate and document progress actively and accurately
• Work with marketing team members and managers to ensure translated curriculum is of the same quality as other US periodicals.
• Work simultaneously on 5+ projects based on current client workload.
• Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs and other components necessary for a website design.
• Consult with clients’ marketing, copywriting and sales teams to create cohesive designs that reflect our clients’ corporate cultures and goals
• Work on product labels and packaging

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

• Strong background in graphic design.
• Experience with reactive design (UX) is an asset
• Experience working in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency.
• Ability to create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics
• Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation.
• Adaptive design eye and skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Open and willing to learn new creative software and platforms
• Working knowledge of 3D software is a plus.
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript is a plus.
• Prior experience in retail or cosmetics industry is a plus
• Love and familiarity with the beauty and cosmetics industry is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
