As we continue to grow, we are eager to tap into the rich artistic culture of Paris and are looking for a dynamic Art Director to lead our creative endeavors in the city. Position: Freelance Art Director Key Responsibilities: Drive the visual direction for various projects, ensuring the artistic vision aligns with client objectives and Slate Studios' brand identity. Collaborate with photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, and other creatives to develop and execute compelling visual narratives. Oversee the creation of mood boards, storyboards, and design layouts. Provide guidance to the CGI team, ensuring visual cohesion across platforms. Stay updated with the latest trends in Parisian fashion, beauty, and art scenes, and incorporate them innovatively into projects. Liaise with clients to understand their needs, presenting ideas, and refining visual strategies based on feedback. Mentor and guide junior designers and other team members, fostering creativity and growth. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Art Director role or similar capacity. Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of creative projects. Proficiency in design software, especially Adobe Creative Suite. Expertise in web design, with a focus on UX and UI principles. Proven experience in branding & identity, setting the tone and visual direction for brands. Strong background in graphic design, with an ability to conceptualize and implement design solutions. Skilled in photography, video production, and CGI, ensuring a holistic approach to visual storytelling. Deep understanding of the Parisian art, fashion, and beauty landscape. Exceptional visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics, color, and composition. Ability to articulate and pitch creative ideas to both the team and clients.
