We're looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team. The role of Graphic Designer is central to our Marketing team in achieving our mission to engage our fans, partners and extended community. You will be required to provide internal design support across the entire group, with clear ownership of our graphic content to support communications and events for Saracens Rugby Club, its commercial partners and our other owned Saracens Group brands (including but not limited to Saracens Womens’ Rugby Team, Saracens Mavericks Netball Team, MBN Events & the UK Investor Show).
As an excellent graphic designer with experience of working in both B2B and B2C environments, preferably from a sport, media or entertainment background, you will work with a range of media including photography and animation using platforms within Adobe creative suite and Microsoft office applications. Using innovative and creative thinking, you will take written or spoken ideas from conception through to execution and delivery. You will be adept at managing projects through our internal software and be able to liaise with printers, freelancers, and all internal stakeholders to hit deadlines.

- SALARY: £26,000
- RESPONSIBLE FOR: Management of external freelancers and junior designers
- INTERNAL LIAISON: Internal departments/Training Ground
- EXTERNAL LIAISON: Media Agencies
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Using your creativity to communicate key messages and promote Saracens Group products and solutions to attract our target audiences. This involves communicating across multiple channels, including print and digital (website and social media).
- Owning the asset library, being responsible for existing material updates together with the design and creation of new materials.
- Taking briefs from internal stakeholders to create content, and confidently pushing boundaries to produce creative which is both innovative and powerful.
- Working with multiple stakeholders to collaborate effectively across the whole Saracens group including partners and corporate sponsors.
- Ensuring the brand guidelines and brand identity are followed in the business and externally (including internal brands).
- Taking part in client meetings, where appropriate, to lead, and advice on how best proceeding (briefing, deadlines, etc).
- Defining creative concepts (campaigns, assets for social media, internal brands).
- Organising, prioritising and managing design schedules to ensure on-time delivery of briefs.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF:
- You have a minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar industry or can show us why this doesn’t matter (a degree in Media or a related area is desirable but not essential).
- You have advanced knowledge of design trends.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have the ability to inspire customer trust and confidence.
- You are passionate about social media and design.
- You have the ability to multi-task, think fast and to deliver solutions to customer requirements.
- You have a relentless focus on and obsession with delivering exceptional design support.

- You manage projects, activities, and resources effectively, assuming personal ownership and accountability for results.
- You are a team player, confident working with clients and external agencies.
