Job description
We are a print and full-service business centre located in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and energetic individual who has a solid and flexible set of customer service skills for our assistant graphic design and print production position. You will be working closely with regular clientele, as well as walk-ins. The ability to be efficient and communicate is a must. This a part time, temporary position currently, but can lead to permanent full time in the future.
- Qualifications and Requirements:
- +3 years of relevant industry or equivalent combined experience and education.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Have a positive attitude, be proactive and full of fresh ideas.
- Excellent knowledge of design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign)
- Confidence to lead projects, set priorities and manage multiple projects at a time.
- Quick learner for new programs as well as print equipment
- Have a strong eye for detail and can maintain this accuracy under numerous tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to field phone calls, problem solve and customer service experience in retail setting. Must have strong customer service skills
Some “Great-to-haves”:
- Experience in a print shop
- Experience shipping orders with couriers such as FedEx & DHL
- Web design, UX knowledge and experience in coding
- Experience in photography – shooting & editing
- Social media experience & familiarity with major media platforms

Salary: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
