6 months fixed term
Job Summary
PMT the UK’s largest musical instrument retailer is hiring. We are looking for a talented and dedicated graphic designer to support our team of two as we lead the way for music retailing of the future.
As our in-house Graphic Designer, you will work with an amazing team on some of the biggest brands from the MI industry, including Fender, Gibson, Roland, Yamaha, Korg, Shure and many more to deliver inspiring creative for stores and our online channels.

Responsibilities
- Producing work across a portfolio of brands (including own label), owning design projects from brief through to final execution
- Managing creative projects, ensuring brand standards and guidelines are met
- Generating engaging concepts and providing recommendations on how best to approach design projects
- Working with product team on new product launches
- Creating landing pages in line with UI/UX best practices
- Designing for projects including print and digital advertising/marketing campaigns; web banners, email, infographics, social media posts, in-store collaterals, and POS
- Lead the way for design standards; implement new ideas, bring specialist skills, and develop the quality of all creative output.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience and creativity across a variety of project and outputs
- A genuine passion for your design and a desire to deliver high-quality output
- Ability to work accurately and effectively, demonstrating excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong conceptual design and ability to take direction and understand requirements
- From design training and 1+ years of proven creative design work experience
- Experience delivering creative solutions for retail
- UI/UX knowledge and skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Software experience: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch
- Eye for detail and well versed in layout, typography, and imagery
