Graphic Designer

Location: 36 Brookshire Ct, Bedford, NS, B4A 4E2

Term: Permanent, full time

Wages: $20CAD/hour

Working hours: 35 hours a week

Job Duties:

• Establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials to meet our company needs.
• Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect.
• Utilize user insights, qualitative data, and research findings to create engaging and high performing graphic creative.
• Work with Director to define and deliver pages, product launch assets, general appearance, graphic components, and product communications.
• Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements of the subjects to be rendered using traditional tools, multimedia software and image processing, layout and design software.
• Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design.
• Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides to produce images that meet clients' needs.
• Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials, such as Websites and interactive terminals.
• Collaborate with marketing team members to keep a consistent style and experience.
• Brainstorm new graphic design ideas with Department Managers to develop our company and brand.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field

· 3+years of experience in graphic design

· Fluency in design software

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Experience in real estate industry is an asset.
