Job description
Palladian Publications Ltd is a privately owned business headquartered in central Farnham, Surrey, UK. A leader in its field, the company specialises in the publication of high-quality business to business magazines for professional readers within the global energy, mining and construction materials sectors.
Your job as a junior graphic designer will require working with the magazine editors to create and design the issue layouts. This position is an on-site role and would suit an applicant with 1-2 years of graphic design experience or a recent graphic design graduate.
The successful candidate will have excellent creative skills to support our magazine brands and marketing promotions.
More specifically, your day-to-day work will involve:
· Working closely with the magazine editor and sales manager to plan and design the magazines.
· Conceptualising and designing various promotional artwork and collateral for the magazine websites, eNewsletters, in person conferences and social media platforms.
Skills Requirements:
· Minimum of 1 year graphic design experience.
· Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
· High level of accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
· Creative flair, versatility and common sense are essential.
· Good time management and organisational skills.
· Team player with an ability to work well with different stakeholders.
· Accountable and proactive approach to projects.
· Attentive problem solver.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
