Scope of the role

The Graphic designer for Island Poké will be in charge of everything regarding the visual aspect of our brand, creating visually appealing, eye-catching and well-structured designs for a variety of products and activities such as our website, advertising, online campaigns, product packaging and displays giving a visual identity of Island Poké reflecting our purpose and values.

Tasks

  • Supporting in delivery of all creative/design work across the business including but not exhaustive of, presentation decks, social content, menu design, vinyls, video screens and pos.
  • Reporting to the Marketing Manger to design Island specific creative for new store openings.
  • Owning our menu designs and keeping them updated, across print, digital and online, including the management of digital menu display platform.
  • Creating animated video for use on menu screens and across social media.
  • Manage workload delivery against tight deadlines and respond to design requests/briefs in a timely manner.
  • Organising and managing the print process for in-island point of sale whilst building and maintaining relationship with print supplier.
  • Liaising with Island general managers to ensure they are stocked with all branded packaging.
  • Keep up to date with the latest innovations and concepts, confident at preparing mood boards and sharing of own ideas/ concepts.

A Bit About You

  • Junior to Midweight graphic designer with at least 2 years’ industry experience within a similar role.
  • Full of energy and ready to hit the ground running.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Efficient in use of Canva.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of design, production, print and digital processes.
  • Organised and adaptable, you’ll need to manage your time well to deliver all creative work against tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Full of energy and ready to hit the ground running.
  • Photography skills would be a bonus!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
