Job description
We’re looking for a sharp-eyed graphic designer to work with us full time as part of the Autovia central design department. Brands include Auto Express, Driving Electric, Carbuyer, Driver Power, evo and Octane that cover all areas of the automotive industry from performance cars, classic cars through to the latest new car launches, news and reviews. Our client list will leave you with the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the industry. Working across the entire business our team of 4 designers, create all aspects of design work for sales, partnerships and marketing teams.
Job Overview:
- Permanent Graphic Designer opportunity to work with Autovia, Auto Express, Driving Electric, Carbuyer, Driver Power, evo and Octane
- Full-time job 35 hours a week
- 3 out of 5 days remote working from home and London Office
- Working in a team of 4 designers
Working on all aspects of design work for sales, partnerships and marketing teams (print and digital).
Reporting into Kirsty Downes
The ideal candidate is a strong team player with a love of typography, layout design, information graphics, an interest in developing new interactive content, and of course, a love of magazines. Our workflow is incredibly varied and fast paced, where you will create an extensive range of design from print to digital. Example work includes:
- Online Interactive content
- Print Advertorials
- HTML emails
- Direct marketing collateral
- Event collateral (inc. environmentals, trophies, logos etc)
- Online and offline creative solutions mock-ups, response to brief templates, pitch decks, and presentations.
- Internal documentation
The ideal candidate would have some experience under their belt, in addition to a strong portfolio showcasing your capability to maintain branding guidelines throughout all kinds of print and digital settings. You will have a desire to learn new systems and tools.
- Exceptional portfolio displaying creative and branding skills
- Design Qualification
- Highly proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- A desire to learn new skills
- Knowledge of HTML5 to build email marketing messages
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX (Sketch) and motion graphics (After Effects). (a plus but not mandatory)
- Knowledge of Ceros (a plus but not mandatory)
