We are an industry leader with businesses in hotels, leisure, healthcare and childcare throughout the North East.
We are seeking a highly motivated Designer to help deliver the right content at the right time. As well as the basics, this role calls for a creative, energetic individual with an extremely sharp eye for detail and a self-starter attitude. You’ll have the ability to manage large projects and an eagerness to learn new skills. You'll manage your own projects in our highly collaborative environment, which will directly impact and enhance the Gainford Group’s brand.
You’ll work across print & digital assets, video editing, animations, websites, email comms, interactive assets, social media, ad’s, menus, advertising assets, signages etc.
You will act as a brand guardian, ensuring extremely high brand standards are maintained across all assets working to tight deadlines, delivering in full and on time. The designer will assist with the creation of content for our audiences; covering subjects ranging from healthcare to hospitality.

The ideal candidate should:
· Be able to demonstrate excellent design skills, rigorous attention to detail and accuracy, as well as an understanding of different audiences.
· Be able to have a quick turnout for videos for social media and other digital platforms.
· Have a track record of creating compelling assets from idea to execution.
· Want to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver a quick turn around without compromising on quality.
· Have experience using a content management system (CMS).
· Assist with the creation/design of emails.
· Assist with administrative tasks, such as uploading new assets to the CMS (Sharepoint).
· Digital ad’s across social media and paid search to promote campaigns and projects.
· Email comms for a wide variety of customer facing and internal projects.
· Support internal teams with digital requests for different venues/businesses.
· Have extensive design and print experience to produce assets to supports all businesses
What we look for
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite specially Premier Pro & After Effects
- Advanced skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are essential
- 3+ years of experience in a design or creative agency, or in-house marketing and creative team
- Motion & video experience is essential
- Knowledge of print production process and feasibility of your design work
- Strong communicator. Experience in communication with multiple business teams
- Experience across varied creative media eg. illustration, photography, copywriting, animation, web and packaging
- A pro-active self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
- An enthusiastic attitude towards learning new skills and sharing knowledge
- Agency management experience is preferable.
- Positive and hard working attitude, ready to get stuck in at a moment's notice
- Exemplary attention to detail Photoshop, InDesign, Photography & Videography
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment
- Proven ability to design for print and digital in a professional setting
- Hospitality, Healthcare, Education experience ideal.
