We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a graphic designer at our training centre near Birmingham Airport.
The ideal candidate will be:

To support the business with the creation of visual assets to use for marketing campaigns, event collateral, and printed & digital material. Ensure that the company’s branding is consistent throughout.
THIS IS A FULLY OFFICE BASED ROLE & CAR ESSENTIAL!!
Duties and responsibilities
- Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for websites, event collateral, presentation slides, marketing assets, social media, websites and printed & digital materials.
- Understanding what works visually on Facebook adverts
- Using industry software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator to create visual designs
- Liasing with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality
- Project management of allocated projects and balancing deadlines at each stage of a design project
- Ensuring branding consistency at all times
- Bringing ideas to life and elicit emotional responses
- Supporting the business to understand the impact and commercial value of high quality graphic design
- Thinking creatively to produce new concepts and ideas
- Working with a range of media and keeping up to date with emerging technologies
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high quality work
- Working with the company finance manager to ensure we are not going over budget with external printers
Essential skills & experience
- Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar role (in-house or agency)
- Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
- Full Mac capability
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Impeccable understanding of the Adobe software programmes such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Acrobat
- Time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs
- Being open to feedback and willing to make changes to design work, and also being confident to stand your ground when you know your stuff!!
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable
- Qualification in Graphic design or similar courses
- Photography skills
- Knowledge of Powerpoint
- Knowledge of Canva
- Knowledge of Clickfunnels
- Video editing skills and skills with Adobe Premiere Pro and AfterEffect
Skill and ability to
- Maintains composure under pressure and has the ability to source solutions
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with a proven ability to ‘make things happen’
