What will you be doing?

We're looking for a commercial minded finance analyst to join our progressive finance team, to support our Food & Distribution business areas during what is an exciting time to join a rapidly changing business and help to support its future direction.

Your role will involve supporting, challenging, reviewing, and interpreting the performance of our business, support costs and to analyse and help forecast project spend.
This is a hybrid position which will see you working a mixture of at our Support Centre in Lichfield and working the rest of the time at home.

How will I know if I am right for this role?

As a Qualified Accountant, you’ll have the ability to work under your own initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to issue resolution. You will demonstrate strong commercial and financial acumen, understanding the key sales and profitability drivers. You must be able to challenge current practice and processes with an eye on continuous improvement.

As a person you will be confident with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to work collaboratively with both cross functional and finance colleagues. You should be an excellent communicator with an eye for detail who is always looking to make improvements and do things better, you will need a track record of delivering accurately to deadlines and providing high quality insight and analysis.
