Job description
DN Colleges Group, University Campus Doncaster is seeking to recruit a part time member of staff (0.5 contract) to teach on its BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme.
You should have experience of teaching on under-graduate Graphic Design programmes of study and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of innovative teaching strategies appropriate to this subject area.
Successful candidates will ideally hold a Masters level qualification in Graphic Design or related subject area and possess a teaching qualification or be a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Although not mandatory, it would be beneficial to have experience within the graphic design or associated industry.
You will be required to teach various modules across the programme including Historical and Contextual Studies, Computer Applications (static and motion graphics), Typography, Brand Identity, Editorial Design and Dissertation Studies.
Essential to the role is in depth knowledge and experience of the following specialist software: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop Adobe XD, Animate, and After Effects.
