Overview:

As part of a fast-paced and dynamic in-house design team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and execution of a range of marketing materials which are essential to the company’s continued growth. An imaginative individual with strong creative skills and a passion for design, the successful candidate will have the ability to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from the creation of consumer brochures, email templates, product videos, digital and info graphics as well as adverts to the art working of trade catalogues, price lists and technical manuals.

Working closely with the Marketing and Product teams, the ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and organised individual with the ability to help colleagues understand their vision, successfully meet briefs and creatively problem solve. Predominantly working within the B2B sector, the ideal applicant will also have experience working on B2C projects. The ability to work across several platforms ranging from printed literature to web design is essential, whilst experience in HTML, CSS and UX design would also be highly beneficial.

We are looking for individuals who have a wide range of design skills from Brochure & eBook Design, to Social Media, Infographics and Digital Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the groups marketing managers and product category teams to create multi-channel campaigns that span all forms of media online and offline design, delivering printed materials and digital assets.
  • Liaise closely with key stake holders to effectively meet briefs.
  • Manage key design projects with support from the marketing management
  • To develop a strong understanding of key audiences and create an ability to differentiate between B2B and B2C
  • Creation of standout and engaging creative assets (print & digital) to support brand and product communications for all channels. Including website, social, email, and digital print/print ads.
  • Creation of professionally edited short videos for use on social media platforms and websites desirable.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, and manage workload efficiently
  • Experience of designing traditional print marketing, including brochures, catalogues, flyers, posters, point-of-sale collateral etc.
  • Experience of designing digital marketing material, including email campaigns, website designs, digital banners and adverts etc.
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • HTML, CSS & UX design experience desirable
  • Mac efficient
  • Microsoft Office efficient
  • To think-outside the box and use own initiative
  • Must have a strong design portfolio
  • Keen interest in current and future design trends
  • Knowledge of the latest technology and industry innovations
  • Good understanding of print and production processes
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise tasks in a timely manner
  • Self-motivated with a positive approach
  • A quick learner who’s flexible and willing to help where needed
  • Team player
  • Full clean UK driving license

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant Bachelors degree (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years Design experience in-house or at agency

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £30,000.00 per year
