Purpose of Role
As an experienced Creative Graphic Designer, you will be part of our centralised creative team and support all areas of the business. With a real creative eye for promotional content, a good understanding of print, digital media, digital marketing campaigns, customer engaging content, you will work very closely with the HR, Product, Digital and Sales teams to create innovative & engaging communication & marketing material.
Working in an agile & fast paced environment, your creative flair will transform a stakeholder brief into the development, design & delivery of engaging assets for use across website, email, social, print and other platforms.
From designing marketing emails, to producing web banners, through to leaflets and brochures to large format print, your role as a Creative Graphic Designer is demanding, exciting and diverse. Your role will demand up-to-date knowledge of trends, styles and what’s new, industry software.
Managing multiple design briefs at any one time, requires your focus, robust time management and a very high attention to detail and accuracy, bringing the Cromwell brand to life in all your creations.
Role Responsibilities
- Design creative requirements for Print, from brochures and leaflets through to large format and exhibitions.
- Design creative requirements for Email, Social, Web & Digital platforms.
- Proactively ideate and develop innovative ideas to bring our brand and business to life within the print and digital space.
- Support achievement of business goals and objectives through your designs, with achievement of high conversion rates.
- Produce designs that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Design layouts and assets for campaigns.
- Advanced knowledge of image manipulation.
- Produce creative ideas and concepts and develop design through innovating, thinking and starting with customer insight and/or competitor research.
- Collaboration with stakeholders to discuss & fully understand the business objectives and requirements of the job, supporting the completion of a design brief.
- Calculate and plan time required to complete the work.
- Proof reading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- Working as part of a creative team with various levels of experience.
- Assisting other team members to plan concepts by studying information and materials.
- A thorough understanding of the company’s brand and corporate guidelines, being a strong ambassador for the brand by ensuring all work encompasses the guidelines.
- Support & educate stakeholders to understand the brand guidelines and their purpose.
- Working with a range of media across all channels and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.
- Art-directing photographers and videographers.
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with the creation of icons, logos and infographics.
- Prepare finished artwork ready for print.
- Using large format output to produce banners and or posters as and when needed.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints.
- Be comfortable producing design material across an international market.
Experience, Knowledge & skills:
- Experience of using a variety of packages such as Creative Cloud, with the main skill in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. A working knowledge of XD and After Effects
- Passion and enthusiasm for design and highly creative.
- Demonstrable understanding of the customer journey and CX.
- Proactive approach to idea generation
- An understanding of brand design and creative trends
- Knowledge of print and printing techniques.
- Creates positive people partnerships, earning the trust & respect of others.
- Is not afraid to instil new approaches and break down barriers to reach the best solution(s)

- Assisting other team members to plan concepts by studying information and materials.
- Proven ability to effectively manage several projects at a time.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs
- Give and receive re-directional feedback, with the intent of creating the best possible designs.
- Highly organised and motivated with a can-do attitude and a strong teamwork ethic.

- Knowledge and understanding surrounding the requirements and process for print work.
