Job description
Looking to start a career in Graphic Design ? our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking to recruit and train an ambitious, creative and passionate Trainee Graphic Designer to complement their team.
Reporting to the Sales and Operations Director duties will include:
· ·Assisting in creating new artwork and to provide advice and quotes for clients.
· Producing new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
· Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
· Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print
· Perform quality checks throughout the print run and verify that the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and breaking down the press for the next job
· Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists
The ideal candidate will be creative, have excellent communication skills, exceptional IT skills & a knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator could be an advantage. A visual arts or graphics qualification could be beneficial but not essential.

Initial salary minimum wage 7.42 – 10.42 dependent on age.
