GRAPHIC DESIGNER
About Choose the Fresh One:
Choose The Fresh One, or CTFO, started delivering fresh fruits and vegetables to homes in April 2020. Since then, we’ve opened our Dorval facility to people wanting to pick up orders directly from us. We’ve expanded our offering from fresh produce, to include a wide variety of refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable items. We’re a locally-owned small business, with 20+ years of experience in produce wholesale.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Manager, the Graphic Designer performs various tasks of creating graphic visuals mainly for the company website.
- Create and design weekly flyer, email campaigns, newsletters, and more.
- Manage email newsletters (Klaviyo)
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
- Update and maintain product listings on website.
- Product photography, retouching.
- Occasionally create social media content.
- Work independently and cooperatively.
- Perform other complementary tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in graphic design
- 0 - 1+ years in professional graphic design
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines
- Excellent at design and able to produce work quickly;
- Great attention to detail, carefully supervises the details and quality of own work
- Works well as part of a team
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Comfortable in a PC environment
- Experience with WordPress is a very strong asset (but not necessary)
- Experience with Klaviyo is a very strong asset (but not necessary)
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary: From $18.00 per hour
