Job description
With a specific knowledge of design across both digital and print, this role will support the Marketing team across a range of projects. You will be creative and confident whilst working within a fast-paced environment and be reactive with your workload in tune with customer requirements.
With a strong eye for detail, you will be responsible for managing the creative output of the marketing department. Reporting into the Marketing Manager, you’ll be able to deliver design work while juggling an often-busy design schedule. Some motion design would be a bonus.
Position Objectives
- To ensure the brand is visually communicated in alignment with the overall brand strategy.
- To ensure project work is carried out against the marketing plan and marketing calendar.
- To ensure task briefs and deadlines are managed and achieved.
- To ensure corporate guidelines are maintained and adhered to.
Main Responsibilities
- Management of the brand guidelines – creation, maintenance, educating the team, sharing with partners.
- Brand Guardianship – enforcing brand standards through all comms channels.
- Creation of all graphic design and artwork for printed marketing collateral, online collateral, display graphics, presentations, advertising and distributor packs.
- Product and R&D artwork including appliance branding, touch-panel design, packaging and labelling.
- Website/webstore UX and design.
- Mobile app UX and design.
- Front-end website and content upload management.
- Customer branding support as and when required.
- Customer-facing sales support tools.
- Project managing the creative workflow, ensuring all work is produced on time, to budget and to a high standard – outsourcing where required to meet deadlines.
- Managing of outsourced back-end web development, illustration, graphic design and animation.
- Shoot direction of photography and videography.
- Keeping up to date with industry knowledge and software, and applying this to the role.
- Attending other departmental meetings when required.
- Being aware of ways to improve existing processes and putting suggestions forward that you would like to see implemented.
Key Skills
- Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite with a degree or degree equivalent in a related field.
- Must be skilled in the following packages: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Experience in the following is a bonus: Sketch, WordPress, After Effects and basic knowledge of HTML.
- Excellent art-working skills with experience of preparing artwork for print.
- Motion design experience would be a bonus.
- Ability to listen and take direction on a variety of tasks.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.

- Track record of working on successful projects from start to finish.
