Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 pa

Start Date: Preferably ASAP, but we can be flexible around notice periods.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer who possesses creativity, excellent attention to detail and proficiency in the Adobe suite of tools. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with clients and our in-house team, and deliver top-notch designs across various design projects, including branding, print, and digital.

The job role:

• Collaborate closely with the company founder and head of branding on design projects.
• Create and develop branding materials, print collateral, and digital assets.
• Ensure consistent and high-quality design work across all projects.
• Work on a wide range of client projects, adapting to different industry needs and design directions.
• Stay up to date with design trends and marketing strategies to provide effective creative solutions.
• Occasionally travel to visit clients around the UK for in-person meetings, presentations and pitches.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills while working directly with clients and team members.
• Display a passion for design, including attention to colour theory, paper stock selection, and typesetting.
• Work collaboratively in an office-based environment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and versatility.
• Ability to work independently to support the head of branding.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet project deadlines.
• Genuine interest in design and excitement for exceeding client expectations.
• Ability to create original, high quality creative concepts, then follow these through development stages to completion.
• Excellent all rounder, working on big and small creative briefs across branding, print and digital.
• Experience in digital and web design would be beneficial.
• Interest in video / photography would be beneficial.
• Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel when required.
• This is an office-based role in St.Ives, Cambridgeshire so the ability to travel to the office each day is a must-have.

Experience:

• 3-4 years relevant industry experience is preferred
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality design work.
