Position Summary

- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute innovative design concepts for a variety of mediums, including social media graphics, packaging, website visuals, videos, print materials, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure our designs are current, fresh, and reflect our brand identity.
- Create visually engaging graphics and layouts, incorporating color theory, typography, and other design principles to effectively communicate and captivate the target audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, requirements, and deadlines, and deliver high-quality designs within agreed timelines.
- Provide guidance and support to junior graphic designers, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Utilize various design software and tools to bring concepts to life, while continually exploring and implementing new techniques and technologies to enhance creativity and productivity.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and branding initiatives.
- Stay informed about emerging design trends, techniques, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge and continually improve the design process.
- Proven work experience as a Graphic Artist or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and understanding of design principles.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of design theory, color theory, typography, layout principles, and branding.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with precision to meet project requirements and maintain brand consistency.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think creatively to deliver innovative design solutions.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends, social media platforms, and their design requirements is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This role is largely sedentary in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full-Time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hours may vary in accordance with business needs.
Required Education and Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 5+ years experience in a graphics role or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education: A degree or diploma in graphic design, visual arts, or a relevant field is desirable.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little to no assistance.
