Graphic Designer - £24K - £29K

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Graphic Designer to join our fantastic team at Angus Steakhouse and sister company.

Our ideal candidate would have 1 – 2 years of experience in Graphic Design and is creative with the ability to work with fast paced deadlines, both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities:

• Designing for two brands – Brasserie mid-scale steakhouse, and British casual-dining steakhouse
• Listen to feedback and write briefs for the creation of marketing collateral artwork.
• Coming up with creative concepts that are in line with brand guidelines and requests.
• Collaborating with other colleagues and the Marketing team to ensure a common vision and consistent branding
• Keeping management up-to-date with regard to project progress.
• Ensuring that a design project remains within scope, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Liaising with external parties, such as printers to ensure that a project runs smoothly and deadlines are met.
• Presenting final design concepts, including specifications for fonts, images, colours, text and layout for approval
• Apply existing brand standards, and creative thinking to devise original and exciting visual concepts.

Requirements:

• Currently a Graphic Designer or has a portfolio of personal graphic design experience.
• Solid knowledge of design and photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and TV Paint Illustrator
• Must have a strong creative vision and written English communication skills.
• Exceptional organisational and proactive with a can-do attitude with the ability to multi-task.
• An understanding of the application of design across various digital and social platforms.
• Organised, with the ability to use your time and resources efficiently and effectively during busy periods.
• Motion graphics experience is highly desirable, and web developer skills.
• Passionate about photography, and the food scene are desirable.

Salary and Package:

• £24-29k

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£29,000.00 per year

• Bachelor's (preferred)
