Job Description: Graphic Designer – 25K - Bristol BS2 Near Temple Meads
Aery is an award-winning brand dedicated to creating unique Home Fragrance & Wellbeing products with an emphasis on sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer/Creative Artworker (mid-weight) ideally with at least 3 year’s industry experience to join our growing team. The primary aim of the role is to support the Creative Director, helping create and execute product and packaging design and artwork.
You will work in collaboration to perform the following tasks:
DESIGN & ART-WORKING of: Products, Packaging, Labels. Copy writing skills as a plus.
MARKETING ASSETS: Web Site & Social Media Channels/Emailers asset creation. Such as: graphics and animated gifs, printed marketing material such as catalogues, Leaflets & POS.
PHOTOSHOOTS & TRADE SHOWS: Assist design, execution/set up and merchandising, prop sourcing and creative ideas, general running.
PHOTOGRAPHY POSTPRODUCTION: Re-touching, colour grading, file naming and filing etc. Photography skills is great advantage.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: Assist in the development of new products. Deliver and manage sign off for final artworks in Adobe software, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
BRAND ENHANCEMENT: Suggest new approaches and ideas, fine tuning our process and striving for efficient workflow.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
· Owning the art-working process and managing design work flow.
· Taking ownership of projects assigned, ensuring they meet agreed deadlines assigned by the team.
· Quality control of design content.
· Cooperate closely with the Marketing manager on marketing, web site and social media assets.
· Build strong relationships with our suppliers, such as printers and component manufacturers.
· Attend regular design/project meetings with clear communication and a collaborative approach to work.
· Working to help create pitching and proposal documents.
· Assisting in the product development process.
· Managing digital brand assets
About You:
· Proficiency in using the Adobe suite, with a particular focus on Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop.
· A proactive individual who is passionate about good design and about creating meaningful solutions that meet our needs.
· A strong problem solver, capable of approaching situations diplomatically to find the best outcome.
· Impeccable attention to detail and process driven.
· An approachable resource for the team to utilise; someone who provides support with enthusiasm and energy towards achieving a common goal.
· Organised and admin focused with the ability to adapt quickly and positively to high pressured and ever evolving situations.
· Strong time-management skills.

· Salary 25K
· Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 5:30pm (1:30 finish on Fridays)
