This new post is an exciting opportunity to join the Motor Neuron Disease (MND) clinical research team, supporting the team to ensure the delivery of high-class clinical research. The key responsibilities of this role are to work with the MND clinical research and clinical care teams to enable the Principal Investigators to identify patients suitable for research studies, taking the lead to deliver simple observational studies (screening, recruitment and data collection), entering clinical data and extracting information from databases to ensure it is available to support research. This opportunity requires an individual with drive, ambition and a genuine desire to improve the lives of people living with motor neuron disease. You will need to possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to demonstrate that you have experience of caring for patients either within a field in neurology or clinical research. You will also need to demonstrate your understanding of the research process, the importance of robust recruitment strategies and have knowledge of GCP and research legislation in order to promote research and achieve successful recruitment targets and make research accessible for patients.
