Job description
We are an an upcoming education and business growth company looking for a graphic designer, and events planner-coordinator.
- Working with the marketing and public relations departments to prepare budgets, setting deadlines, creating concepts and identifying the objectives of the event
- Selecting and negotiating with vendors and monitoring their activities to ensure quality control
- Managing the promotions, communications and branding aspects of the event
- Supervising Caterers, and admin related to guest lists
- Building a rapport and working relationship with our client to deliver an excellent standard of customer service and ensuring delivery of our customer service promise
- Resolving problems and guest inquiries before and during the event
- Approving all activities for the event
- To be part of the operational team setting up and during the event to ensure all areas are co-ordinated and the event runs to schedule
- Preparing reports and making a presentation to management after the event
For the Graphic Design aspect-
- Coming up with creative concepts that are in line with a client’s demands
- Developing rough drafts of concepts and presenting these to clients
- Collaborating with other creatives in a design team to ensure a common vision and consistent branding
- Keeping a client up-to-date with regard to project progress and applying client recommendations
- Ensuring that a design project remains within scope, time and budget
- Keeping up-to-date with design and multimedia trends and the latest developments in software tools
- Liaising with external parties, such as printers to ensure that a project runs smoothly and a client’s expectations are met
- Presenting final design concepts, including specifications for fonts, images, colours, text and layout, to clients for their approval
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week
Salary: £12.00 per hour
